Welcome to the twenty-fifth (25th) issue of ARPTalk. Featured in ARPTalk(25) are the following three (3) articles:
(25.1) LETTERS AND THINGS
(25.1.1) E-mail from Seth Stark – Mr. Stark explains the difference between integration of faith and science and THE SEPARATION OF FAITH AND SCIENCE. Mr. Stark notes that the model of Interim Academic Dean Gid Alston is SEPARATION OF FAITH AND SCIENCE.
(25.2) THE EDITOR WASN’T WRONG! –The Editor responds to a request to retract article ARPTalk(24.2), explaining why he was not mistaken – “It is what it is!”
(25.3) ”EBENEZER ERSKINE” AND STEVE SOUTHWELL ON ERSKINE COLLEGE – The Editor responds to correspondence between an anonymous e-mailer and a FACEBOOK posting by an Erskine Board member.
If you are new to ARPTalk, ARPTalk is NOT an official voice of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. The purposes of ARPTalk are two-fold: (1) To inform and educate the ministers and laypeople of ARPdom on significant issues that are before ARPdom; and (2) To give voice to and encouragement to those who feel they have been ignored and marginalized.
If you have thoughts, articles, reviews, criticisms, or news that are of interest to the ministers and laypersons of ARPdom, and you submit them, they will most likely be publish in ARPTalk. If you would like to speak with the Editor, you may reach him at 864.882.6337.
I hope you find ARPTalk(25) interesting and informative. I look forward to hearing from you.
The opinions expressed in the articles in ARPTalk are the opinions of the writers of the articles and they own them with their names attached. There are no anonymous articles or letters in ARPTalk.
Thank you for reading ARPTalk(25).
